VALLEY GIRL- DARK WASH

Description

There is a reason the Valley Girl is a best seller. It gives you the ease of your favourite jeans, but the wide leg and front patch pockets make even the most familiar sweater or tee look more styled. The high rise creates a clean waist, the shorter inseam lets your shoes actually be seen, and Comfort Stretch denim gives you structure without that rigid denim feeling. These are the jeans you reach for when you want something more interesting than a straight leg but still need them to work with half your closet.

WEAR IT 3 WAYS

Give Your Sweaters Better Proportions Pair them with a shorter knit or let a relaxed sweater sit right at the waistband. The higher rise and wider leg create the shape, so the sweater can stay simple.

Make a Button Down Feel Less Predictable Wear them with a crisp shirt, loafers and a leather belt. The patch pockets take some of the formality out of the shirt and give the whole outfit a more relaxed point of view.

Dinner Without Changing Out of Denim Add a fitted knit, pointed shoe and a great jacket. The wide leg has enough presence to feel more polished than a basic jean, so you can take them somewhere your casual denim does not always go.

THE LORDON Styling Note

The front patch pockets are what make these jeans feel different, so let them show. Choose tops that finish near the waistband, tuck in a finer knit, or use a small front tuck rather than covering the entire top of the jean. The 27 inch inseam also makes footwear part of the outfit. Loafers, flats, ankle boots and sneakers all get their moment instead of disappearing underneath the hem.
