Description

This is the sweater for when you want the outfit to have a point of view before you have added anything else. The bold stripe gives it that slightly retro, sporty feeling that makes a simple pair of jeans or trousers suddenly feel much more intentional. The relaxed shape keeps it easy, while the graphic pattern gives you enough interest that you can skip the complicated layering and accessories. It is the kind of knit you pull on when your quieter sweaters are starting to feel a little too quiet.

WEAR IT 3 WAYS

Saturday Lunch Wear it with dark straight leg denim, loafers and a structured bag. The stripe brings enough personality that the rest of the outfit can stay incredibly simple.

Make Your Work Trousers Feel Less Corporate Pair it with a wide leg trouser and pointed flats. The graphic knit softens the formality of the pant and gives you another way to wear it outside the office.

With a Skirt Try it with a satin or straight midi skirt and ankle boots. The sportier stripe keeps the skirt from feeling too dressy and gives the outfit an unexpected contrast.

THE LORDON Styling Note

A strong stripe already does the work of a pattern and an accessory, so resist the urge to keep adding. Pair it with cleaner shapes underneath and let the sweater be the interesting part. If you want more definition, a small front tuck is enough to show the waistband without changing the relaxed feel.
