Dark Stone High Rise Barrel Denim

Give Your Sweaters a New Shape: Wear them with a fitted crew neck knit, leather belt and loafers. The closer top lets the curve of the jean become the interesting part of the outfit.

Make a Button Down Feel Less Predictable: Pair them with a crisp shirt, slightly tucked at the front, and a pointed flat. The barrel shape takes a familiar shirt and denim combination somewhere much more current.

Change Up Your Blazer Uniform: Add a simple fitted tee, structured blazer and sleek ankle boot. The stronger denim silhouette keeps the blazer from feeling corporate and gives you an easy outfit for lunch, meetings or dinner.

The secret to a barrel jean is showing enough of the waist for the shape to make sense. You do not need a fully fitted top, but let the waistband stay visible with a shorter knit, a partial tuck or an open jacket. Because the leg tapers again at the ankle, you still get definition at the bottom, which keeps the fuller shape through the hip and thigh feeling balanced rather than bulky.
