Description

This is the layer that makes a simple top and trousers look finished.

The Chic Short Sleeve Cardigan has a clean round neck, a full button front, and a cropped length that hits at a flattering point. The knit has enough structure to hold its shape while still feeling soft. Available in black and white, it works as a light layer over tees and tanks or as a polished alternative to a regular top.

WEAR IT 3 WAYS

1. Everyday polished
Button it up over a fitted tee or tank and pair with tailored trousers or dark denim. The cropped length keeps the proportion clean and the buttons add quiet interest.

2. Soft work or appointments
Wear it over a simple crew or scoop neck top with wide leg or straight trousers. Leave one or two buttons open at the neck if you want a slightly softer look.

3. Easy layering
Leave it open over a light knit or sleeveless top with jeans or trousers. The short sleeves and cropped shape keep it from feeling heavy while still giving the outfit more structure.

THE LORDON Styling Note

The cropped length is intentional. It creates a clear waistline when worn with higher rise bottoms and prevents the cardigan from overwhelming the frame. The button front gives you control. Fully buttoned it reads more polished. Partially open it feels relaxed but still intentional. Black and white are the two most useful colours for a piece like this. They work with almost everything already in your closet and never compete with the rest of the outfit.

This is the light layer that turns basic combinations into actual outfits. Once it is in your rotation, you have an easy way to add polish without adding bulk.
