Description

The belt that adds texture when an outfit feels a little too simple. The braided finish gives denim and trousers more interest while the polished buckle keeps it looking refined rather than overly casual. Wear it with a tucked knit, a button-down or even over a relaxed dress, it’s an easy finishing piece that makes pieces you already own feel styled again.

WEAR IT 3 WAYS

Everyday Denim: Wear it with straight-leg jeans, a simple tee or knit and loafers. Keep the waistband visible so the braided texture becomes part of the outfit.

Casual Office: Pair it with tailored trousers, a tucked button-down and blazer. The texture of the belt breaks up the cleaner tailoring and keeps the outfit from feeling too corporate.

Weekend Layers: Style it with relaxed pants, a lightweight sweater and suede flats or clogs. Add a small front tuck so just enough of the belt shows to give the outfit definition.

THE LORDON Styling Note

A braided belt is particularly good when your outfit is built from simple pieces because it adds texture without adding another layer. It also gives you more flexibility in where you fasten it, so you can adjust the fit depending on whether you’re wearing it with denim, trousers or higher at the waist.
